The Sutliff Museum is growing and we are looking for input from our future leaders to ensure we are meeting the needs of our rising generation. We are seeking interns who are mature, energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Internship Objectives
The Sutliff Museum provides interns with an educational experience where students gain first hand practical knowledge of the museum field. This program provides the opportunity to learn all aspects of museum operations and to work on projects under the guidance of the Director.
Selection Process
Interest candidates must be a junior or senior, have a strong interest in art or history, have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, provide a recommendation letter, and fill out the online application form. After receipt of the application, candidates of interest will be contacted to schedule an appointment for an interview. Accepted interns must commit to at least 50 hours during the session selected. Interns are encouraged to attend Museum events and activities.

Students who are interested in a creative and flexible volunteer experience will be expected to perform the following:
